Elizabeth moved to lean against the door frame of her bedroom, eying Caleb in his jeans. She gave a small shake of her head which sent her braided hair swaying. "You are not wearing jeans to the club."

Caleb turned and she could tell that he was studying her and cloths she wore. She had gone shopping earlier and the outfit was the end result. The tan suede skirt was knee length on the right side and angels sharply to rest high on her left thigh, which went well with the tan shirt that was solid on her chest but mesh on her stomach and the long sleeves. The outfit had reminded her of Milliways and because of that she had to have it.

Caleb tilts his head at her. "Am I supposed to wear an outfit like yours?" She could hear the teasing in his voice and rolled her eyes. "Besides your not fully dressed yet, which means I still have time."

Elizabeth moved to sit comfortably on the bed, her bare feet swinging over the edge. "All I have to do is toss on my boots. You still have your whole outfit." She glanced down to the knee-high, tan suede boots that would complete her outfit, knowing that the right boot would meet the right side of the skirt.

Caleb gave her a slightly sheepish grin. "What happens if I say I don't know what to wear?"

Elizabeth pushed off the bed with an amused chuckle. She had also anticipated that he would pull this when she was shopping. She picked up a bag and handed it to him silently.

Caleb took the bag with a curious look. He pulled at her shirt with a teasing glint. "It isn't mesh like yours is it?"

Elizabeth smiled, but it was automatic as her mind slipped off a little. She got a flash of Jason pulling at a similar shirt, and then to the might at Guilty Pleasures several nights ago.

Caleb tilted her chin so that he could look her in the eyes. "What's wrong?" A faint trace of worry etched in his features.

She blinked, feeling her face go to neutral. "Nothing fixable. Don't worry about it."

She moved to pull her chin away, but he strengthened his grip on it. "I'm just supposed to let go that something made you upset?"

Elizabeth rested her hand over his. "It will work itself out eventually, and there's nothing to be done about it in the mean time. I'll be fine." She pulled away slowly, letting her hand stay with his. He opened his mouth to say something, but she cut him off. "I promise, I'll be fine."

Caleb nodded, letting go as Elizabeth moved back to sit on the bed. He wanted to push it, but the last time he pushed he was thrown into a wall and he didn't want to relive that. Opening the bag he grinned at the outfit inside, her mood swing moved to the back of his mind. "You though of everything for tonight didn't you."

She gave a small chuckle and moved to put her boots on. "Well we have to make sure that you fit in nicely don't we." She bowed her head as she worked on her boots, letting out a small breath. She had tried to find a door back to the bar, but everything ended up being a dead end. She wasn't sure if it was because she was trying to hard or if it just wasn't time for her to go back yet. Either way, it frustrated the hell out of her. Her mind kept wandering to the people she'd had to leave behind to come home, more so since she had been remembering more recently.

Caleb pulled her out of her thoughts easily enough, a question and a small spin. "How do I look?"

She looked over him with a smile, her worry about getting back to the bar slipping away. She had gotten him leather pants that buttoned so that he could have a spot that his belly button piercing wouldn't rub, and a button down, short sleeved, suede shirt. Both black. She'd been to enough clubs to know what would work and look nice on Caleb too, and she wasn't wrong. He had even been able to add a pair of boots to the outfit, completing the monochromatic coloring. "You look stunning."

She stood and smoothed out her skirt before looking up to meet Caleb's leering glance. "Somehow I think you look better than I do."

She gave a rich laugh and sauntered out of the bedroom, her hips swaying nicely. "That's because I've had more practice."

He gave a low growling purr. "Tonight looks like it will be a very fun one."

Elizabeth nodded with another laugh, not turning around. "Why wouldn't it?"

Caleb followed her out of the apartment, locking up before watching next to her out of the building. "I don't know."

There was a brief grin from Elizabeth as the two headed off for their destination, the night looking like it would be a long one.
